Overview
The occult necklace is a magical amulet that requires 70 Magic to wear. It is dropped by the smoke devil and its boss variant . Wearing it increases the player's Magic damage by 5%, and is the only amulet to give such a bonus. This 5% bonus will also stack with existing boosts, such as the staff of the dead and the imbued slayer helmet . The salve amulet(ei) does not apply its damage bonus to other hit targets when barraging . The 3rd age amulet possess slightly higher magic accuracy but lacks magic strength. Thus, aside from using single target magic damage against undead mobs, or in situations where landing a single spell is pivotal, it is the best neck slot item for magic damage output.
